The Business Committee, our newest formed committee, was created to assist businesses with their sustainability and growth within the community as well as for business owners to collaborate on sustaining their businesses. The committee oversees the quarterly Business Round Table discussions, which are open discussions with business owners where they can interact collaboratively to sustain and improve their business within Mount Vernon. Topics for these discussion have included increased street activity, parking issues, safety concerns, lively neighborhood events as well as neighbor promotions.
The committee also encourages new businesses to come to Mount Vernon and become part of a vibrant destination, where specialty shops want to come to be part of the Mount Vernon jewel in the shadows of historic architecture and Baltimore’s exciting arts district.
